Fresh from a service from Tim @ The Tone Lab we have a 1986 Mesa Boogie Studio 22 Combo.
Dating to 1986 based on the transformers codes. April of 86 infact.
The amp is in exceptional condition throghout and appears to of have minimal use. The valves are all original Mesa branded and are all performing as new. The valve pins and sockets are in great condition and show little sign of use.
The power transformer, a USA made Schumacher, is the original export model and has been rewired for 240v operation. A new Australian mains plug and lead have been installed and the fuse has been replaced with the correct value for 240V operation.
The original footswitch is in very good condition as is the ambs cabinet, which arrived for service fully shrink wrapped (as it may have been for some time). Inside, the amp is clean, with no issues visible and no signs of wear.
All pots, switches and jacks have been cleaned and serviced, including the removal of minor corrosion on some contacts (normal for an amp of this age) . It is now performing like new.
