Description
Rare as hens (Falcon's) teeth. For sure, the deluxe cherry of the 'lawsuit' Greco instruments. Made for only a couple of years (well around 18 months from what I understand) before vanishing from catalogues all together, the elusive WF-140. While heavily influenced by the mid-to-late 1960s aesthetics of the Gretsch White Falcon there are a few things that make this 'copy' unique. Spec'd out to suit the Japanese market, you've got a super fast slim neck (think 1961 Gibson slim taper) and a slightly shorted scale length 311mm with 21 frets, with the Gretsch being 324mm with 22 frets. Super cool, super rare. Unlikely we'll ever see another, certainly not in this condition! Made in Japan, serial number I870315.
