Description
One for the heads. A short-run USA-built oddity from Fender’s early-‘90s experimental streak—extended horns (hence “Longhorn”), no pickguard, rear-routed active circuit, and that clean burst over a lightweight slab of ash. Maple board, 22 frets, black logo, and a pair of Fender Lace Sensors. Factory original and full of attitude.
These rarely show up in 4-string form—most Longhorns were 5-string "Boner Basses" from the Plus/Deluxe series. This one walks the line between Custom Shop prototype energy and catalog ghost. Serial N000079 puts it right at the start of the ‘90s, and the detail work backs it up.
A legit sleeper piece for the discerning collector or the player who likes their Fender weird. Comes with its original molded logo Fender hardcase.
