Description
Early 'ink stamped' incarnation of the Les Paul Classic. At the time the classic's were as 'vintage' a style Les Paul you could buy. You got burst style small bushing tulip head Kluson style machines, minerally tops, aged trapezoid inlays and nitro finishes which look great once they get some years under the belt. This example being over 30 years old has got some nice finish checking and yellowing to many of its plastic parts. This one is a player. We're talking a headstock repair, new nut and a Seymour Duncan Super Distortion bridge pickup and although to the player these aren't necessarily detractors, the instrument has been priced accordingly! Gibson Brown case that comes with this one has seen a tour or two... anyway this one still has a long life to live! Made in USA, serial number 3 4837. Made in the USA.
