Description
52 Reissue that came out in the same year as The Rolling Stones released their, dare I say, comeback record 'Voodoo Lounge'.
Gosh, well, it was not so much a comeback, but they toured out here, and it was ace.
I mean you can't really reference a black guard Telecaster without mentioning Keith Richards, or that other fellow, whose name escapes me right now..ya know, um, Glory Days..10 hour sets, working class hero (no not John Lennon) enlighten me info@echotone.com.au.
I don't know 'bout you, but like Gibson in the 90s, Fender had a comeback too...they were making some damn fine guitars...and this Telecaster in question is certainly no exception.
Yes, it has some scars, and a couple the back of the guitar too..check the photos, I say aging (dis) gracefully. Most mentionable among these is some chipping to the finish just above the output, topside bottom right edge, and again on the top left under the elbow.
Frets have life, pickups and hardware are original to the guitar. Bit of a small ding near the 'F Note' on the back of the neck near the headstock. It's a player, and if you start it up, it will never stop...kinda like perpetual motion.
Original tweed case included, little certificate too..and a cold serving of Shepherds pie, while stocks last, BYO HP sauce.
