Description
The Gibson Landmark Series was a run of guitars, in cool colours, each representing a National Park in the States. The Nighthawk we have here is in Glacier Blue, named after Glacier National Park in Montana. It has a little map of the US on the back of the headstock with a little star where Glacier National Park is located.
Cool somewhat rare Gibson guitar from 1998 that comes equipped with very nice sounding 2 M-series Gibson mini humbuckers and in a very 'cool' colour indeed, pardon the pun.
This guitar is in used condition with many chips and scratches present, including some bare wood on the body and headstock, however, no breaks. Frets still have life, but there are some divots and they could do with a dress soon.
There's a bit of a rough spot near both strap pins where a previous owner has changed the position of the strap button, 5 times...whoops. The volume knob has a visible crack, but is holding in there. Gold hardware is tarnished.
Plugged in sounds incredible, the combination of the mini hums with the skinny mahogany body just works so well. Nighthawks have a bit of a following, and rightly so, they are a unique bit of kit, and if you are thinking of owning one, surely Glacier Blue is the colour for you.
Comes with the original brown Gibson case. Made in the USA #92366582.
