Early reissue of the Gretsch White Penguin.
This one has had a life, and has travelled all the way from the Southern Hemisphere to the Southern Hemisphere...(actually not true...it was made in the Northern Hemisphere).
One of the most rocking, and cool as hell guitars ever made, and even has a little Penguin proudly emblazened on the pickguard.
This guitar has been gigged, and shows a few scars from a life well lived.
Bridge pickup has been replaced with a 'bucking thing..(original is in the case)
New bridge, tarnish on the gold parts.
Life in the frets.
It is really great to see one of these in this condition, kinda makes it cooler in my humble opinion.
Good weight too, not too heavy like some Duo Jets from this era.
