Description
This 2000 Godin Radiator has seen a few things and played through more. Canadian-made with a chambered silver leaf maple body and poplar wings, it's light in the hands but heavy on vibe. The retro-inspired design pulls from ‘60s department-store cool, but the build quality is pure Godin—tight, stable, and ready to gig.
The finish has its fair share of scuffs and edge wear, especially around the body and headstock, giving it a broken-in charm. The bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fingerboard are straight and smooth, with medium frets that show honest playwear but still have plenty of life.
The stock humbuckers are punchy and warm, with a surprising amount of clarity—great for garage rock, indie jangle, or fuzzed-out blues. All electronics are functional, and the quirky chrome control plate is intact. Tuners hold well, bridge is solid, and the guitar plays clean up and down the neck.
