Description
A truly delightful Custom Telecaster—and maybe the nicest-looking Fender ever made? Hard to argue with double binding, rosewood board, and that classic black-on-white contrast. This model's long out of production; if you're after a ‘Custom Telecaster’ these days, you’re looking at a Japanese sunburst or coughing up for a Custom Shop.
This one’s in good shape with some honest wear—light scratches, a few marks in the finish—but overall a solid player and a bit of a sleeper classic. Comes with a hardshell case, strap, and the spiritual approval of Chrissie Hynde.*
Built with a double-bound alder body, C-shape maple neck, rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius), and loaded with dual ‘62 Custom Tele pickups. Vintage-style bridge with threaded saddles, and the original Tele circuit with a 3-way switch.
Made in the USA. Serial: V191611.
