Description
The Custom Shop version of the Vintage Reissue 1965 Stratocaster. The Aztec Gold finish alone just makes this a Killer guitar to play, on stage of at home. The Sanko 6105 frets are different from the Vintage style frets of the American Vintage instruments, imparting a little alternate timeline playfeel to the gilded 1965-spec Strat template.
The Custom Shop Handwound Poblano Stratocaster pickups give more punch and more dynamics, while retaining the bright 'sparkle' a Stratocaster should posses. Just as with the American Vintage '65 Strats, the Tremolo arm has been upgraded, and has a period correct and very 'easy-to-use' angle.
The 5/4 Quartersawn Maple neck has a AAA Rosewood Round Lam fingerboard. 9.50" radius. '65 Stratocaster "C" shape neck profile. Mother of Pearl Facedots and side dots. Bone nut.
