Description
Tabarnak! A blue jeans coloured T-type beauty from Quebece's finest Nic Delisle of Island Instruments! Hand crafted in the Mile End Guitar Co-op space in Montreal.
This is one of 12 T-type guitars built as a limited run, during the peak of the 2020 global isolation event. Heavily inspired by Bill Frisell's instruments, this has a Mojo Pickups PAB at the neck position, paired with Mojo's 50s tele pickup at the bridge, and a 4-way switch for series/parallel operation and a wide variety of tone and timbre options. A softly-V'd, medium thickness quartersawn maple neck with 21-frets on a 25.5" scale and 9.5" radius. Jescar 51100 frets. The body is made from reclaimed pine, and the fretboard is Blackwood Tek - a modern, richlite-esque, sustainability focused material designed for use in furniture and instrument making. Double bound for that tele custom attitude, and finished in a denim blue transparent satin to expose all the character of the pine. Stunner!
Nic's instruments are extremely uncommon in Australia, so this is a rare opportunity!
SN #10, weighs in at a cosy 3.5kg. With hard case.
