Description
Italian surfadelia at its finest. The 290 Barracuda is a bold, weird, redburst semi-hollow with the kind of mid-century futurist lines that make Teisco look tame. Made in Recanati by Eko in the 60s and packed with switches, shine and shout.
Two clear-covered single coils, a strange blend and mute system, and a long, overreaching trem arm that makes no ergonomic sense but feels exactly right. Factory tort pickguard, hockey stick tailpiece, and a selector knob that just says “ALL.”
Original “Made in Italy” decal on the back of the headstock. Includes the original hardcase. Yes, the teardrop one. Oh yeesssss.
