Description

Here we have an awesome SA-50 Hollowbody in red / burgundy finish made in the late early 60s's by Yamaha.

A unique design in itself and their take on the ES style guitars of the era from Gibson and Gretsch.

The finish leans on that of a darker red / almost burgundy with a lovely flame to the top and back too.

The guitar is very well loved showing many signs of playwear but still in relatively good condition for its age with plenty of life left. The dual mini-humbucker setup has two volume and a balance control to offer a wide array of tones with a 3-way toggle to select the pickup configuration. The original machine heads were replaced long ago with greco grover rotomatic style for better tuning stability. There is a strap pin button missing on the upper bout of the bass side and The truss rod cover is also not original to the instrument..

The lower cutaway has some paint missing and a small stamp of Mickey Mouse stuck there..you could remove it...but why would you?
