Description
Peak bass doomstick.
Muddy and thick bucker at the neck with a strangle switch with a bonus bridge pickup if you want something nasal too.
This one has been heavily played. It wears its scars honestly, as evidenced in the photos. If you take a look at the pickguard, you'll notice someone has played this thing soo much that they're actually worn through the black layer of the pickguard to reveal the white layer below... so cool.
No breaks. A couple of replaced bits of binding to the neck. Heaps of buckle wear to the rear. Uncommon slotted headstock model produced only from 69-72. Pot codes are hard to read on this one, but I'm going to say it's about a '69 based on the serial number (which isn't the most accurate measure).
This one sports a set of ancient flats which were too good to replace.
What has been replaced is the truss rod cover and the jack plate. Fingerboard has been conditioned, frets have been polished, and electronics have been cleaned. 30.5" scale length.
Made in USA.
SN 950703. 3.7kg (light).
