Somewhere between a tool and a toy, this Guyatone short scale is all attitude. The pickup is original, the tuners aren't, and the frets are hanging in there for now. Intonation is more of a concept than a reality, but it plays fine and sounds like nothing else. Dig that prehistoric plastic and metal bridge and the most outrageous control plate of any bass ever made. Definitely not a Precision. Ichiban indeed.
