Vintage Guild vibes for a tenth the cost. This old Tomson dread brings the block inlays, binding, oversized guard, and bold moustache bridge energy. Looks like it should be twice the weight, but it comes in at a cheeky 2.05kg. Action’s a touch on the high side, and a bit of cracking to the headstock (unrepaired but stable) but it’s still playable and full of growl. Just loud, dry, and very fun... a very characterful vintage acoustic.
