Made between '72 and '74 and stands as one of Yamaha's formative examples of 'double cut' electric guitar explorations. These bolt on neck constructed instrument share a similar DNA to the 'SG' series Yamaha expanded across throughout the 1970s and 1980s. While your SG-1000's and above typically take influence from Les Paul type instruments, the SG-30 offers a much lighter, faster, almost 'Gibson SG' type experience. A super cool guitar design.
