Rare Toshiaki Matsuoka built classical - the son taking over from the father (Ryoji) to build a classic model.
Double plate Rosewood back and sides and a solid spruce top. Beautiful looking and sounding guitar.
"The M40 model was part of the Concert series of guitars that Matsuoka produced between 1975 and 1981, featuring a solid cedar top, laminated rosewood back & sides, rosewood fretboard and mahogany neck, rosewood bridge, bone nut & saddle and gold lyre tuning machines. Scale length is 652 mm and nut width comes in at 52 mm."
In extremely good condition, a bit of a gem.
