Yamaha's much lauded L series guitars were first manufactured in 1975 and were for the Japanese market only.
The one we have here is from 1980. Features a rare white oval label Ezo Spruce top and Indian Rosewood back and sides. It also has an inbuilt pickup.
Action is sitting pretty, plenty of height in the saddle.
This was very obviously a players guitar, many scratches on the body, some clouding, many dings on the back of the neck, used but not really abused I'd like to say.
It is a phenomenal sounding thing, plenty of volume, but an even warm tone, there is a reason why it has been played as much as it has. The neck is a subtle V, very comfortable in the hand.
It's a lovely acoustic, sure to make someone very happy.
Made in Japan, comes with Yamaha hardshell case.
