'Start Me Up'

Cool as f**k Japanese made Fender 'Sonny' Telecaster. Sonny, is of course Keith Richards famous '67 Telecaster.

It's kitted out with all the good stuff, just like Keith's...brass bridge and saddles, and that dirty, filthy, nasty humbucker in the neck position. The bridge pickup itself is an aftermarket replacement.

This is quite possibly the first iteration of this model, produced in Japan around the mid 1980s.

Nice feeling C neck, fairly weighty body but not too unruly..cracking looking Sunburst finish. Frets are looking like they could do with a bit of a dress in the not so distant future..slightly pitted. This guitar sounds great in open E, even better in open G and you'll see the presence of God in open Q.

It's rough, it's ready....Are you?

BYO 1970s Ampeg Amp, High Powered Twin or Boogie, Marlboro cigarettes, Rebel Yell and stash.

Made in Japan in 1985..
