The body is alder — big sustain, excellent resonance. Yamaha’s in-house P/J pickup combo offers a broad tonal range, from thick low-end presence to tight, snappy highs, with a switchable active 3-band EQ to sculpt it further.
Chrome, medium jumbo frets, and an ebony board round it out in style. It’s got some honest wear, but nothing that distracts from the vibe or the playability. The BB1100S punches well above its weight and comfortably keeps up with instruments double the price.
