Description
Crack open your finest bottle of non-brewed condiment and fire up the atavachron, we're going via the Wardenclyffe Tower to visit the sixteen men of tain. Don't forget your hard hat.
Carvin's Allan Holdsworth signature HF2 "The Fatboy" is, as you might expect, a pretty idiosyncratic thing. Designed by Allan with Mark Kiesel (pre-rebrand) it's half way between a hollowbody centre-block guitar and a solidbody shredder.
Chambered alder body with birch top and back (internally, no part of the top touches the back), a set rock maple neck with 24 jumbo, stainless steel frets. Mercifully, this one has a 12" radius instead of the factory 20" that is standard spec. Also has a set of Seymour Duncan P-Rails on push-pull pots which are definitely not standard spec. Old style Sperzel locking tuners, GraphTech nut, 2-tone sunburst finished all over.
If you've got metal fatigue and you're reaching for the uncommon chord, you might find it here. At the very least you'll have the perfect shredstick to play over giant steps all night wrong in all 12 keys.
No IOUs on this one but we can accept most other payment methods.
