Oh the stories this bass could tell! This originally came to us as a complete 1974 P-Bass, which had been routed out to hold a chorus pedal, and with an extra hole under the guard to take a big 'ol mud bucker. Killer bass, very good. Bass was sold and made it's way to a 'Guitar Tech' who obviously didn't understand how to treat a vintage bass, and snapped the truss rod. Heartbreaking!
So back it came to us, and has hung in the repair section waiting for a miracle, and low and behold, santa rewarded our good behaviour with a 1979 neck in need of a home!
So we now have this killer lightweight early 70's body reunited with a dreamy 70's P-bass neck, ready to live again. Feed My Frankensteinnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn
Early 1974 Precision Bass body, factory black. Body has been routed to house a chorus pedal in past.
Neck has been replaced with a Rosewood boarded number from 1979.
Pickup 1980s DiMarzio. Replaced pickguard. Fully serviced and ready for stage use.
Lightweight. Includes a modern era, black 1960s style G&G Fender hardcase.
Both side latches missing teeth but centre clip functions. Seriously ripper, obviously player grade vintage piece. Will not let you down. Neck serial number S900024.
