I don't want to bang on too much about 50s Gretsches, but damn. If you haven't had the experience of playing one, it's a trip.. This Country Club is an early 'Filtertron' example with trestle bracing. Yes, it has been played, yes it is has just been refretted, and I'd say a very slight plane of the fingerboard at the same time..
There has been some small repairs to the binding, Grover Imperials are intact, gold hardware has tarnished, original pat no. Filtertrons..but if you don't get a kick out of plugging this in and time travelling to 1958..then shoot.. it has the original case. Yep, this is a very special guitar indeed..it's a rock and roll guitar..and these are getting thinner and thinner on the ground nowadays.
