Rickenbacker helped define a very different branch of the electric bass family, with the 4000 arriving in the 1950s and the 4001 becoming an icon of the decades that followed. Their distinctive construction, shape and sound inspired plenty of copies along the way. Our collection covers vintage and second-hand Rickenbacker basses alongside Japanese-made copies and other R-style interpretations.
