If you don't listen to the Stones version of 'I wanna be your man' and get chills down your spine when the slide lead comes in, then God help you. I'm pretty sure Brian Jones played the lead on a '60s Gretsch Double Anny...and if he didn't, who cares...coz he looked so cool with one of these.
Hilotron pickups, Smoke and Caddy Green 2 tone finish (they never seem to get the right colour on the reissues)
Has had a neck reset (some touch up paint round heel) and service by Piers Crocker. Space Control is a repro, and of course it has had a refret at some point.
I don't know if Alexis Korner kissed this guitar or not..but it feels blessed either way.
Made in the USA..when gas was cheap and rock and roll grew on trees.
