Here we have a tasty slab board Fender Jazzmaster dating to November of 1961 thats certainly unique. Its different, unusual and quite frankly cool. Now we know what you're thinking.. why didn't Fender ever release a model like this? Think of it comparable to that of a three pickup Les Paul Custom but in the form of a single coil offset. Honestly its a brilliant sounding and feeling instrument. The original black bobbin single coil pickups are present in the neck and bridge. The middle pickup was professionally installed some time ago. The electronics have been replaced in the harness: 3 way toggle switch, CTS pots. The Rhythm circuit is original but currently disconnected from the circuit. There has also been the addition of a 3 way mini toggle toward the output jack (featuring in circuit, out of circuit, middle only function) The guitar has seen a pro refret, as well as a new nut and machine heads installed. There is overspray present throughout. Non original trem arm. Comes with the original hardshell case. Made in USA serial 67727
