Well loved first year of production Fender Jaguar. Iconic Fender model from a classic year. Highly original and presents honestly. Worn in all the right places. A true vintage relic. Replaced output jack, older re-fret with vintage sized frets (which are on the low side) and new nut. Lovely neck profile which beefs up towards the 12th fret. Pots and neck stamp and neck plate date to the tail end of 1962. Tremolo cavity pencil date is early 1963. Bridge swapped out with a modern 'Staytrem' unit for improved playability however the original threaded barrel bridge is included with the sale. Lightweight and resonant. Excellent sounding pickups. Case is an original 'no logo' pre CBS c1964 Fender case. Neck plate inscribed 'GRETA 140-38-3365'. Serial number 66797. Made in USA.
