I've been playing Jazzmasters for the better part of 25+ years , theyre my absolute favourite and go to solid body electric. It's always a treat when we have pieces like this through the shop. These are becoming few and far between on the Australian market. Heres an absolutely wonderful offset; 1962 Fender pre L series Jazzmaster. Three tone sunburst complimented with a red tortoiseshell guard. Loads of patina and mojo from many years of being well loved. In great condition for its age, plays like absolute butter and sounds a treat. 4th of May 1962 neck date stamp, July 1962 cavity marking. Pots date to the 13th week of 1962. It has had a pro refret, there is clear overspray present on the body and neck. The last time this guitar came up for sale was via premium vintage dealer Hyper Guitars in Japan and sold for over $26,000 AUD. A relative bargain at $16k now.. ones loss, someone elses gain!
