The National Newport 82 pairs space-age looks with garage-rock soul—Res-O-Glass body, Valco pickup, tort-style guard, and a vibrato arm that looks like it was stolen off a spacecraft. This one's finished in factory “Pepper Red,” and is about as vibey as it gets.
It’s just had an in-house setup including a minor fret dress, and it's playing phenomenally—way better than you'd expect from something this far out.
