'64 SG in Cherry, well, now a faded Cherry really.
This may well be one of the lightest and most resonant guitars that I have ever had my hands on. I shall try not to put 'pickup' and 'bark' in the same sentence, but how else to describe the semi unhinged sound of a P90 equipped Gibson? Yep, I guess you can well imagine, this thing, does that thing, in a way nothing else can.
There have been some minor changes to stock...pots have been changed, and the bridge, studs and bushings. The guitar itself can only be described as 'beautifully worn in' in the way that you wish all vintage guitars were..used well, but definitely not abused.
If you have been waiting for the right one of these to pop up..this could well and truly be the right one. Just my 2 cents worth, but this is a very special guitar.
Comes with an 80s Gibson hardshell case with the red lining.
Made in 1964 in the USA.
