This thing is a true unicorn... the stuff dreams are made of. Exceptionally rare Ash bodied Blonde Jazzmaster from 1965. Beautifully lightweight and resonant at only 3.5kg. Original Blonde finish has yellowed off gorgeously to a buttery hue. To me the mid 1960's produced some of my favourite Jazzmasters and this example continues to feed that bias of mine. Dots and binding. Double line Kluson machine heads. Stunning Brazillian rosewood fingerboard with some really interesting grain swirls on the treble side of the fingerboard. Really clean decal transfer. In fully original condition save for the pickup foams underneath the pickups which had hardened preventing one from dialing in the pickup heights. Serial number 106802.
