Genuinely beaut Gretsch Double Anniversary, earlyish in the Baldwin era (but still made in Brooklyn)
Honest play wear all over the body..
Couple of things of note.
The guitar has had a refret (before it came in here)
A couple of binding repairs as you'd expect.
G tail has been on then off when a Bigsby was installed.. then back on again.
A hole remains in the body near the bottom bout.
Strap pins are replacements.
Bridge has been double sided taped, guitar has been set up and intonation is right on.
Acoustically it has volume and feels really solid to play.
Plugged in of course it rips.
Yep, you can buy a Japanese made Gretsch for around this price, but dare I say, this is much, much more fun...and again, it sounds like a 60s guitar, because it is one.
Original wiring, knobs, switches etc.
Still great value in the vintage market...ssshhhh..
Made in the USA, and comes with the original case.
