Description
The build quality of these late 1960s Yamaha electric guitars is definitely not up for debate anymore. I can't see why this guitar wouldn't last for another 60 years, gosh, maybe even longer. However, if you are looking at this guitar, build quality may indeed be the furthest thing from your mind. I think it is safe to say that when the Flying Samurai came out, there was really nothing else like it on the market. The one we have here is in good, played condition. The original low and flat frets show some pitting, but it is still playable the way it is, or if you purchase this it may well be worth future proofing it by getting a refret done. Great sounding pickups, neck being original and bridge being re-wound by a magician named Jon Shubb. Trem arm is missing the plastic tip..but all else is stock..I could make some sort of bad pun about the guitars cutting tone, but no one wants to hear that, so I'll refrain. Made in Japan, of course #9608.
