Description
A well-worn but proper old warrior - this 1969 Gibson SG Standard has all the right bits and plenty of miles behind it. Original large guard, patent number pickups, Maestro Vibrola with engraved lyre plate, and reflector knobs all present and accounted for.
It’s had a neck heel repair and reset somewhere in its life and shows evidence of a previous stoptail conversion, now properly re-Vibrola’d. The finish shows extensive checking and honest wear throughout, but structurally it’s solid and plays well. The right year, the right colour, the right mojo!
