1969 Gretsch Streamliner 6103 (USA, Walnut, OHSC)

Description

These 6103 Streamliners are a bit of a sleeper if you ask me.

Built during the first few years of the Baldwin era takeover in the Brooklyn (New York) factory prior to the factorys move to Arkansas.

Some nice features which make for a fairly versatile thin bodied hollowbody.

Pair of Super'Tron pickups, a 'G' tailpiece and a classic 60's feeling neck profile.

This one here is finished in the less common Walnut finish.

Tuners have been replaced at some stage in the instruments history with Grover Imperials.

A few pieces of binding on the neck have been replaced and the rim of the body sees your typical rot.

Neck ramps upwards after the 15th fret which prevents a super low action, this could however be remedied with a fingerboard sand and partial refret in this area but I would suggest, playability is totally fine for most folks!

A super cool piece that is priced accordingly.

Serial number 89195.

Includes the original hardcase (albeit painted black!).
