Started life as a Porsche Pumpkin colour, and refinished years ago in black.
New TV Jones Supertron Pickups, pots, tail, bridge and switch.
This earlier 70s model doesn't bob up for sale super often and has the smaller Gretsch headstock, like on 1960s Duo Jets.
Guitar dates to September 1970, and was made in Gretsch's Arkansas factory.
Binding has been replaced and of course it has been refretted at some point...plenty of life left.
Yes, many changes from stock but doesn't change this from being an great guitar that you could literally play the life out of.
Lightweight too and the earlier thinner body. About the same price as a secondhand reissue Duo Jet, and I know what I'd rather have.
Original Space control bridge is in the '90s battleship grey Gretsch case.
