Description
A torturous guitar to have in stock at the moment. Can somebody please get it out of my sight. 1971 Telecaster in a kind of rare finish for 1971, Candy Apple Red. Stupidly lightweight too at 3.40kgs. While 60s Telecasters are getting into silly silly money, poke your head just around the corner to 1971 and you get a Telecaster like this, an absolute delight. One pot replaced, the other dates to 1966 (not unusual, perhaps Fender got a bulk deal, I have seen many Fender guitars past '66 with '66 pots in em) The guitar has been refretted, with the board refinished and a new nut cut. Neck dates to November 1971. Seymour Duncan Antiquity in bridge. Dimarzio DP172CU (Twang King) in the neck. Hows it sound? Hows it play? Yep...it's fair to say, I'm in love. Period correct Fender case that used to house a Stratocaster. Made in the USA near the start of the 1970s. SN338741 Weight: 3.40kgs "Bang, Bang, go the Jail Guitar Doors" - The Clash.
