Description

Ok so here we've got a great little ES guitar.

Pots date to late 1973.

Yes this ones in the Norlin era but man, there are some guitars from this period that just feel right.

Often we'll see instruments with fairly shallow neck angles from around this period... this one has spot on geometry.

Combine this with a light weight at under 3.5kg and we're talking a legitimately resonant ES-335.

These are the kind of guitars that excite me... there are enough modifications to it to push it (mostly) out of collector territory (replaced pickups, tuners; twice, it once had schallers, nut; brass), frets, knobs, tailpiece and bridge).

Great fade to the top, it's really brought out a warm chocolate tone out of the finish (when you pull the guard off you see some serious tanning!).

No breaks or structural repairs.

Comes with a non original (but really nice) Brown hardcase.

Restore it with original parts and you'll be looking at a close to 10k instrument in todays market... or enjoy it at a discount and play the hell out of it as it stands... This is a good guitar.

But hey don't just take my word for it... come have a play and find out for yourself!

SN 183015. Weight: 3.4kg.
