Description
Here’s a tidy '74 Strat that hits a sweet spot between mojo and playability. Finished in classic 3-tone Sunburst over an uncommon poplar body, with the expected light edge wear and just enough patina to keep it honest. Factory-fitted parchment plastics and the original 3-way switch intact. Crucially nice and light at 3.6kg!
The neck feels great in hand—nicely broken in maple board with a rounded profile and natural wear. Neck code reads 0903, dating to 1974, matched by grey bottom pickups dated week 24, 1974 (bridge/middle) and week 23, 1974 (neck). CTS pots date to week 45, 1973.
All three pickups sound strong, with a clear, punchy vintage Strat character. The original tremolo arm is included, and everything functions as it should. Save for some sticker tan on the rear (see photos) there are no extra routes, mods or funny business—just a solid mid-‘70s Fender with the right mix of vibe and tone.
