Early maple neck Custom. Pots date to '75, and original T Tops in place. (Looks as if the pickups have been out at some point then popped back in, according to the solder!) Lovely slim neck, and not outrageous weight wise either. There have been some aesthetic touch ups to the back of the neck, including overspray to the back of the neck (possibly to cover up wear) and the guitar has also had a refret, with some binding repairs.Also the board reradiused to reverse compound radius (9.5" at first fret to 7.25" at the 12th). Changed jack plate, strap pins and pickup surrounds. Grover tuners added. Bit of a rock and roll survivor this guitar, and bar a few changes from stock, still sounds and plays as good as it looks. Good shot to get into a mid 70s Paul for not too much dosh, and believe me when I say, nothing will do quite what a T Top equipped LP will do. Slight anomaly with the serial number, points to earlier 70's but we are confident to say, this guitar is firmly 1975. (Maple neck, pots, features, all point to that) Made in the USA. and comes with the original, albeit beat up Gibson case. SN 966451. Weight: 4.75kgs.
