Description
Rarely seen in the wild, a beautiful half century old Martin Dreadnought.
These things fall into the, if you know, you know, category.
A proper pre-War neck profile, 1 3/4" wide nut width, 12th fret dovetail an of course a non adjustable T bar neck. Indian Rosewood back and sides, Spruce top, Mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard.
This thing is a cannon, loud and yet beautfully rich sounding.
Has had an LR Baggs Element pickup installed by the previous owner, so stage ready.
Professionally refretted at some point, and playing great. Pickguard is a replacement, original in case.
Set up beautifully, really a very special thing.
Includes the original Martin hardcase.
Made in the USA
SN 361116.
