CBS-era Jazz with a maple neck with blocks and binding. Pickups date to 1975, pots to 1975/76. Neck plate is an older 402668 (1973) unit that looks to have simply ended up on the bass at assembly rather than being a later swap. For what its worth the body is quite lightweight so could be of a similar era to the neck plate. Badass bridge fitted. Yes, the finish is absolutely cooked, worn through and melted in a way only a late-CBS workhorse can get. It's had a million cigarettes. Loud, lived-in and anything but precious. Freshly serviced and strung with EXL160s. Includes a hardcase, that says 'Mr Bassman' on it.
