Description
Don't laugh…no really don't. I guarantee you 5 minutes with this guitar and you'll be sold..
Maybe it doesn't look like a classic Gibson acoustic…(of course it doesn't) but thing may be the best sounding Gibson acoustic from the 70s I've have had my hands on.
Designed by 2 cats in the 70s in a scientific? way..quite the anomaly for an Gibson acoustic...but Gibson were...shall we say, experimenting a but in the 1970s.
It has a slightly different shape to a Dread..skinnier waist. It also has whacky sound hole, designed to project..
The one we have here sounds warm, and feels like you really want to play it and play it.
We have replaced the saddle. There is a decent sized cherry on the face, finish wear..but hell...as I said before, great sounding thing..
Made in the USA, in Kalamazoo..SN 00 21244.
"On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life
There were plants and birds and rocks and things
There was sand and hills and rings
The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz and the sky with no clouds
The heat was hot, and the ground was dry But the air was full of sound
I've been through the desert on a horse with no name
It felt good to be out of the rain
In the desert, you can remember your name
Cause there ain't no one for to give you no pain
La, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la"
