I (Justin) watched the price of 'Stangs literally jump overnight around the time of, you guessed it ' Teen Spirit'. What was once a $300 guitar was now well over a K in, whatever year it was...(gosh, I guess I'm old) Mustangs are cool, especially if you mod 'em..a lot. Why wouldn't you.. they sound great with 'buckers... should have stickers on 'em, and almost demand cheap rattle can refinishes... So what we have here is a reasonably medium weight (for '78) Mustang, with an added switch, and added Super Distortion style Gotoh pickup. Please don't ask if it is original, (although I believe the pots are) coz that is as punk as a Wombles record (which is actually kinda punk now I think about it). This guitar was refinished grunge Pink Sparkle at some point in its life, and has been rubbed back to reveal the original and rare factory Blonde. Some of the pink remains in the Blonde...like a relic from the past. This guitar plays great, sounds cool, and you can split the Super D with the little red switch. I love it, and you will too. Go on, start a revolution! Or take this guitar back to stock, find an 'original' hardshell case, go to bed early, and die lonely.. Made in the USA and comes with a case. #S821706. Weight: 3.5kgs
