Description
Tasty ES-335 from 1978. Has definitely had a life, consequently feels extremely nice to play. Has had a refret at some point. Some overspray on the back of the neck..however, all the bits that you want to be right, are right. Pots date to 1977. Patent stamp pickups. original tuners and bridge. Yep you can nab a 90s ES for less that this, that will probably weigh a bit more, and in my humble opinion, won't have as much character. Classic Gibson slim taper neck. Plenty of wear on the body and neck near the fingerboard. Norlin era ES guitars seem to escape many of the things that bother some people about the era, and I reckon, in terms of playability and sound, they are still well and truly 'under the radar' Made in the USA and comes with the original Gibson case. Light in your head and dead on your feet
Well, another crazy day, you'll drink the night away
And forget about everything
This city desert makes you feel so cold
It's got so many people, but it's got no soul
And it's taken you so long to find out you were wrong
When you thought it held everything
You used to think that it was so easy
You used to say that it was so easy
But you're tryin', you're tryin' now" - Gerry Rafferty, Baker Street.
