One of Gibson’s strangest late-70s ideas and that’s the appeal. Oversized maple body and neck, long scale, heavy hardware and the full Moog active circuit intact and functioning, featuring onboard compression and expander, adding sustain, clarity and a slightly hi-fi edge to the attack.
This one’s wearing its years honestly. Steel parts are heavily oxidised, gives the thing a doom-friendly vibe. Structurally solid, electrically sound, and unapologetically odd (thank you Norlin era).
Original pickups throughout: tarback humbucker in the neck and T-Top in the bridge. A genuinely weird crossover of late-70s Gibson excess and Moog experimentation, built for players who like their guitars a little hostile. This one is waiting for someone to make a claim and make the model their own!
