Description
Late 1970s Greco build quality. The SA-700R is their faithful ES-335-style thinline, finished in a beautifully faded Cherry with a flamed maple laminate top, back, and sides. Double bound body with block inlays, bound rosewood board, and the open book headstock with pearl inlay.
Hardware has aged honestly, binding has taken on a soft cream tone (and sees some deterioration/rot in some places), and the lacquer has sunk into the grain in just the right way.
