Description
This is Peak '78.
The very cool, and not often seen Ovation Viper.
2 strong output single coil pickups, sounds like a hot Telecaster, but looks like...um, well, an Ovation Viper.
Ebony fingerboard, Mahogany construction..dig those ridiculous oversized control knobs.
Everything working as it should, and enough fret to last for some time to come..
But wait, you want more? Yes, of course..it comes with the original brown case, with a lux brown interior..
Finish has clouded off a bit on the body, but all in all, this is a great example of 1970s guitar building..yep peak '78.
Made in the USA. E19890.
Weight: 3.45kgs.
"I've been walking these streets so long
Singing the same old song
I know every crack in the dirty sidewalks of Broadway
You know where hustle's the name of the game
And nice guys get washed away like the snow in the rain
There's been a load of compromising
On the road to my horizon
But I'm gonna be where the lights are shining on me
Like a rhinestone cowboy
Riding out on a horse in a star spangled rodeo
Like a rhinestone cowboy
Getting cards and letters from people
I don't even know
And offers coming over the phone" - Rhinestone Cowboy, Glen Campbell.
