1980 Gibson ES-335.
Fairly lightweight, banging ES. Still the best value ES around in my opinion these late 70s, early 80s models.
Running the original tarback pickups, oh yes.
Little bit of hanger burn on the sides of the neck, and missing the internal label.
Has the factory coil split to bridge pickup on the bottom bout.
Crooked 'Authorized Instrument' factory sticker on the back of the headstock, which makes me happy, and I don't know why.
Usual scratches and scrapes for 46 year old.
Damn fine rock and roll ES from the turn of the decade.
Can be used to play 'Footloose' though I wouldn't recommend it.
Classic slim taper neck. Frets have life left, you have life left, and hopefully Kevin Bacon has life left too.
